Is it only compatible with Ampero?

No. It works with any device that accepts momentary footswitches via TRS.
What is the difference between momentary and latch?

Momentary = short pulse, used for presets, tempo, looper… Latch = stays engaged, like an on/off switch.
What functions can I assign?

Everything the Ampero allows: changing patches, activating effects, looping, tempo…
Do you need a power supply?

No. It is passive, so no power supply is required.
